PillarMeds Pro is not a medical service. It is a personal record-keeping and reminder tool. This disclaimer explains what PillarMeds Pro does — and, importantly, what it does not do.
1. Not medical advice
Nothing in PillarMeds Pro constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing decisions, dose recommendations, medication safety checks or drug-interaction warnings. Content and features are provided for information and organisation only.
2. Always consult a healthcare professional
Always seek the advice of your GP, pharmacist, prescriber or other qualified healthcare professional with any questions you have about a medical condition, medication or dose. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read or seen in PillarMeds Pro.
3. Do not change how you take medication
Do not start, stop or change how you take any medication unless advised to do so by a qualified healthcare professional. Editing information in PillarMeds Pro does not change your prescription.
4. Reminders are supportive, not authoritative
Reminders and schedules in PillarMeds Pro are intended to help you stay organised. They are not guaranteed to be delivered, and should not be relied on as the sole safeguard against missed doses. Device settings, permissions and connectivity can affect delivery.
5. Allergy and interaction information
Any allergy warnings shown within the app are based only on the information you enter. They do not replace clinical checks performed by a pharmacist or prescriber.
6. Emergencies
PillarMeds Pro is not an emergency service. If you believe you or someone else is experiencing a medical emergency, an adverse drug reaction, an overdose or a life-threatening event, contact your local emergency services immediately.
7. Accuracy of information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the medication and health information you enter. Please review information carefully and update it promptly when your care changes.
8. Independent service
PillarMeds Pro is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the NHS, any government health service, healthcare provider or pharmaceutical company.
