Data Protection (UK & EU GDPR)

Last updated: 11 July 2026

PillarMeds Pro is committed to complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) where applicable.

1. Controller

PillarMeds Pro is operated by DJN ANP LTD, a company registered in England under company number 13714880. DJN ANP LTD acts as the data controller for personal information provided through the service. Data protection enquiries and requests to exercise your rights can be sent to djnanpltd@yahoo.com. General support enquiries can be sent to support@pillarmeds.live.

2. Special category data

Medication information, allergies and reactions are considered special category (health) data. We process this information only because you have given explicit consent by choosing to record it in PillarMeds Pro, and only for the purpose of helping you manage your medication record.

3. Your rights

  • Right of access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Right to erasure — ask us to delete your personal information ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your information.
  • Right to data portability — receive your information in a portable format.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
  • Rights related to automated decision-making — PillarMeds Pro does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

4. How to exercise your rights

Most rights can be exercised directly in the app (edit or delete your medications, allergies, reviews, or your entire account). For anything you cannot complete in the app, email support@pillarmeds.live. We will respond within one month, in line with UK GDPR.

5. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication with leaked-password protection, row-level security for user data, and access controls for our team.

6. Data breach notification

If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the appropriate supervisory authority without undue delay, in line with UK GDPR.

7. International transfers

Where information is transferred outside the UK or the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

PillarMeds Pro is a personal record-keeping tool and does not provide medical advice. Do not change how you take any medication unless advised by a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency services.
