Carer Medication Management — Help a Loved One, Safely
Give family and professional carers read-only visibility of medicines, doses and missed alerts — without ever handing over control. Access is invitation-based and revocable at any time.
Carer medication management is the everyday work of noticing whether a loved one has taken their tablets, remembering which medicines they're on, and being ready to answer questions at the pharmacy or GP surgery. PillarMeds Pro turns that work from guesswork into a secure, real-time view of their medication passport.
Built for the way families actually help
Invitation links and access codes
Patients generate a unique code or link. Carers redeem it once and they're connected — no shared passwords, ever.
Read-only, always
Carers see medicines, today's schedule, upcoming doses, allergies and recent history. They cannot add, edit, delete or reschedule anything.
Missed-dose alerts
When a scheduled dose passes without being ticked off, the carer gets a push and email so they can check in.
Support multiple people
Carers linked to more than one patient switch between them from the Patients I Support screen.
Revocable at any time
Patients stay in control. One tap in the Carers module ends the link and removes all visibility.

How to link a carer in three steps
- Open Carers in your account and generate an invitation link.
- Share it via message or email. Your carer signs up on the carer sign-up page and redeems the code.
- They see your passport in read-only mode, and you can revoke access at any time.
Safety reminder: PillarMeds Pro is a record-keeping and reminder tool. Neither patient nor carer should change how a medicine is taken without advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Frequently asked questions
- What is carer medication management?
- Carer medication management is the practice of helping someone else stay on top of their medicines — from checking today's doses, to noticing missed ones, to being prepared for appointments. PillarMeds Pro gives carers read-only visibility without letting them change the patient's medicines.
- How do I invite a carer to see my medicines?
- Open the Carers module in your account, generate a unique access code or invitation link, and share it with the person you trust. They create their own free account, redeem the code, and gain read-only access to your passport.
- Can a carer change my medicines?
- No. Carer access is strictly read-only. Carers can see your medicines, today's schedule, upcoming doses, allergies and recent history — but they cannot add, edit, delete or reschedule anything.
- What happens when a dose is missed?
- When a scheduled dose passes without being ticked off, PillarMeds Pro logs it as missed and can send a push notification and email to linked carers so they can check in.
- Can I revoke carer access at any time?
- Yes. You can revoke a carer's access at any point from the Carers module. The moment access is revoked, they no longer see any of your data.
- I'm a carer for more than one person — can I switch between them?
- Yes. Carers can be linked to multiple patients and switch between them from the Patients I Support screen. Each linked passport is kept completely separate.
- Is carer medication management a substitute for professional care?
- No. PillarMeds Pro is a record-keeping and reminder tool. Carers and patients should not change how a medicine is taken without advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
